 Mel's episode of Charmed is now available for download. If you're reading this when I'm posting this, go to the Charmed Multimedia Newsgroup and download the files for "Power of Three Blondes." This is the full episode (45 minutes without commercials). That's how I got them and I was lucky they were still on my server. Big thanks go to whoever encoded this episode! It's beautiful (a thousand times better than anything I've managed to encode myself)! And it's small! I don' know how they did it, but I'm glad they did. I'll put this file up with the others on Kazaa. FOr more info check out my Multimedia Page.

 Mel is in an ad for Old Navy right now. It should be appearing in major newspapers everywhere. It should be the cover of their ad insert (usualy in the middle of the paper when you unfld it). You can also see a low resolution version of the ad at Old Navy's website.

 There isn't an Old Navy near me, and the ad doesn't appear in my local paper, so if anybody has a scan, please send me a copy!

Working at Old Navy, as I do, has its perks after all! We see the circulars (ads that go in the paper) before anybody else - usually one or two weeks before they're actually sent out. On the cover is a girl in a sleeveless tank with two little girls, and she looks very much like ex-villainess-turned-superhero Melody Perkins. Those who have spent hours looking at her other print work would know for sure.. (*cough*Ryan*cough*)

Speaking of me at Old Navy, I turned eighteen only the sixth and was already offered a management position about two weeks ago.. I did most of my training this weekend. Not too shabby, I think.. they were actually waiting for my to turn 18 so they could offer. :-D

 Thanks to Lyanna, I now have Mel's appearances from Coyote Ugly and Planet of the Apes up for download! Now all I'm missing is the appearances on High Tide, Nightman (both of which I can't confirm) and Malcom in the Middle (which I have on tape, but am unable to offer for download :(. If anybody has downloadable copies -- pics, avis, wavs, whatever --, please send 'em my way! :)

 Happy Birthday Mel!

 As a special birthday present to the fans I've put up a bunch of new stuff for this week! See below for more!

 I've got the Rolling Rock comercial! Big thanks to a friend of mine who helped me out with that! Screen caps are now available in the Other Gallery. I've also mananged to encoded an avi of the entire commercial (in divx). For instructions on how it can be dowloaded go to the new MultiMedia Page. (You'll also find instructions there on how to download all the other avi's that I have of Mel!)

Also another pic of Mel has surfaced on a website, this time in a Java ad for Windows XP and for XP Themes. Big thanks go to Abe, who sent me the link and put up with my questions while I figured out why it wasn't working for me! 

 Special instructions for viewing these two ads: use a current browser, click on the links above, wait a few seconds -- her pic popps up after the pic of a black man. If you don't use a current browser, the ad will be hidden from you. You also won't be able to see the ad if you have Java turned off in your browser prefrences.  For thsoe who don't want to mess with going to microsofts webpage and trying to grab a pic from flash, I've already done it and the pic is now on the Gallery Page and the Other Gallery.

 You know, there must be a bunch of those pics out there -- probably in one of those photo compilations that advertising companies use. There's no other way these same pics could be popping up in different ads all over the web. And yes, there are other ads using the same pics. Compare the first microsoft pic to the one on Emode.com.

 As you all know DivineMelody.com has been replaced with a porn site. 
 I talked to Lyanna recently and she told me what happened. She says she "got the URL from FortuneCity for free and when they lost most of their free hosting service, they offered to renew my URL for some rediculous price.  I wanted to transfer it off their hands to a cheaper server, but they wouldn't let me ... Then they sold it to a porn company." For shame! Maybe FCity stands for something other than furtune. ;) 
 Lyanna wanted to offer her thanks as well as her deepest apologies to Mr. Labhart (for pointing out the problem) and anyone else who ended up there while looking for her site. Absolute Melody IS still up at F'edCity. And a new site will eventualy be up at Niso.
 BTW, she says that Selwyn Ward did a commercial for Labatt, a Canadian beer company, less than a year after PRiS wrapped up. She thinks she still has the clip somewhere if anyone is interested.

Happy Halloween and here's a treat! A new pic of Mel has surfaced on a Credit Profile Site. I'll add it to my Galleries once the pic is no longer available on that site. This is good news because (added to the other web ad she appeared in recently) it means she's still modeling and might start turning up regularly again (although probably not in LandsEnd, which hasn't had a new pic of her in their catalog for a long time).

 Wouldn't you know it, as soon as I update about Mel clips on Kazaa there's something new.

Today Mel showed up on an ad for the realone player. I don't know how long it'll be up, but there's the link for all those interested. I found this by accident when I was looking for an old version of the G2 player (there seems to be something rather unsavory about the realone). If the pic disapears from the link above, let me know and I'll add it to one of my galleries. If anyone knows how she popped up here and if she's doing anything else (it looks like a new pic -- gosh, she's gorgrous!) please let me know that too. Email Gomi!

 Long time no update, eh? What can I say, there's no news, so I guess we'll just have to make some of our own. 

 Here's some good news! I've finally put Mel's Silk Stalking's episode on Kazaa. For more about Kazaa and what's already on there, check out July 4th below. A word to the wise, Kazaa comes with spyware but there are ways to get around that. To find them, you should do a search on Google for "Kazaa Lite" or "Kazaa Spyware Remove." 

 You can expect Malcom in the Middle, Coyote Ugly and Planet of the Apes if I ever get this conversion from MP2 to Divx thing down. <grumble grumble> BTW, info about all Mel's TV appearances (including all those I just mentioned and more I didn't) can be found on the Film and TV page.

 Fact Page going down? Nope, but Geocities might turn the site off (temporarily) if it gets really popular. 

 Today I received an email from Geocities telling me that the Fact Page has been "receiving a large amount of traffic." They give me 3GB of data transfer per month; but they track that usage per hour. That means that only about 20-25 of you (my fellow fans and curious people) can view the site each hour. When more than that many try to access the site in an hour, Geocities shuts down the Fact Page for an hour. To date I've only had about 200 page views since the site first went up; so assume that someone was grabbing a copy of the site with a web ripper. No worries. I don't mind if you keep a copy. Like it says on the front page, all this is free, so feel free to use it. Just be aware that you might not get it all in one shot.

 Bottom line: if you get a "this site temporarily unavailable" message, check back in about an hour. 

 Yeah, I know. Geocites sucks, but it's the best I've got just now. If anybody knows of any free providers out there that are better, I'd be glad to move (again). Click here to email Gomi. Until then, I guess we'll all just have to be patient. 

 In other news. You all know that Mel's Bloopers from PR:iS are available on Kazaa. Well, I'm working on getting avi's of her appearances in Silk Stalkings, Malcom in the Middle, Coyote Ugly and Planet of the Apes. When I do, I'll have my friend host them on Kazaa with the rest (unless some kind soul is willing to host them on an actual server) and update with all the info right here.  Get all of Mel's PR:iS bloopers on Kazaa! 

 A few notes. You'll have to download the file sharing software first. Files are only online as long as whoever has them is online. Right now it looks like there are only a couple people with them all, so you might have to keep an eye out. A good time to find them is around 4PM CST. You should search for "Melody Perkins" and "melbloop" to find them all. There are 20 small files and one big one (all the small files in one). Small file names are "melbloop01" to "melbloop18" as well as "evilizer" and "whenpush." The big one is called "pris bloopers." Good luck finding them and enjoy!

 Actually, we're changing servers. If you've bookmarked gomi.cjb.net the only change you should notice is banner ads. :( Unfortunate but that's the tradeoff for free space.  Coyote Ugly 2! Will Mel be in it? It's a long shot, but possible! As you can see in the blurb below, details are just about nonexistent at this point, but she WAS the new Coyote at the end of the first movie! BTW, I taped the end of the first Coyote Ugly movie recently and put screen caps up if anyone is interested. Email Gomi!

 I just found out that the guys at el Fuñaroverse were upset at me (and rightly so, I was sloppy). So, I want to apologize. As I see it, I made two very bad mistakes.

First, I definitely should have contacted them before adding their screen caps from PoTA to my Galleries Page.
Second, I should have included the link to their site on the Gallery page as well as the news page (see Feb 26).

 With that said, I've added a link to the gallery (to the front page of el Fuñaroverse) and emailed my apologies to them personally about this. They are a great Power Rangers resource, and I hope they aren't too mad at me!
